Waxing philosophical and getting an HR lesson

I am a big fan of Jason Silva and his series Shots of Awe on YouTube. This one came in my inbox. It is a philosophical discussion on whether we can change the past. You might think that is impossible, as Jason discusses, but as it turns out you can change the past, or at least your recollection of it. People’s memories can be altered. We end up remembering things that occurred that might not have occurred. That is the HR lesson. That is why documentation is important.

Watch this video. It is only 3:41 long. Enjoy Jason’s discussion, his use of the language and imagery, but also pay attention to what he is saying and realize that if you want to really “remember” you had better document the event.
